After leaving the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Haque for 4 years, I joined as an assistant photographer with some of the finest Dutch advertising photographers in The Netherlands and get to learn a lot! We traveled a lot so I got to see the world.
I spent most of my time working closely with Vincent Kruyt, from his studio in Amsterdam. Vincent thought me all about photography and showed me his love for advertising photography. To me he was my mentor and I owe him a great deal. I am still thankful to that, up till today. We ran our studio like a surgery operating room, with having everything under control.
During this time we did great productions, such as Renault, Zwitserleven, Melkunie, Randstad, Heineken and many many more. That time we made pictures of animals, kids, people, industry, work, ministries, lots and lots of famous people, actors, football players etc.
With other photographers I worked together we made production for the military, fashion, food, architecture and much more.
During my student time on the Academy a started another business and I always kept it aside. But after a while, it took more of my time than I could wish for, so I decided to put my photography work on a lower level. Something I regret up till to today. We cannot change the past, but only the future.
Nowadays, I am closely working together with a brand called HANDGEMAAKTBROOD and through this I am able to enhance and explore my food photography skills. Some of it, I placed on the Picsonrequest.com website.
Because I have a lot to offer and photography brings me joy and pleasure, I believe I can help people and companies bringing out their best.
